Cheong Ho-Jeong, President of the Korean Association for Public Interpretation and Translation (professor at the Interpretation and Translation Module, Ingenium College of Convergence Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), launched the Certification System for the Korean-multilanguage Public Interpreters and Translators Development Committee in September 2022 to operate the Certification System for Korean-multilanguage Public Interpreters and Translators for Korean-Thai, Korean-Vietnamese, and Korean-Indonesian.​
