Cheong Ho-Jeong, President of the Korean Association for Public Interpretation and Translation (professor at the Interpretation and Translation Module, Ingenium College of Convergence Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) published issue 2(1) of INContext on April 28, 2022. The issue focuses on the role of interculturalism in the COVID era, the future of crowdsourcing and online collaborative translation, standardization hypothesis verification through analysis of vocabulary bundles of translation and non-translated text, crisis translation as a bridge between crisis studies and crisis communication, cultural shifts between post-division South and North Korea as observed from the perspective of structure and theme, the development of Indonesian-ness in modern art and artist identity amid political upheaval in the 1950s, and shifts and use of Shakespearean motifs in Japanese pop culture, with a focus on manga.​
