Cheong Ho-Jeong, President of the Korean Association for Public Interpretation and Translation (professor at the Interpretation and Translation Module, Ingenium College of Convergence Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) published the first issue of the journal on November 30, 2021. It deals with changes in Korean outbound literature translation, the impact of individual sociological contributions on translation dynamics, recent trends of ethnocentrism emerging in translation studies, the importance of prior consent in translation studies, British feminism and anti-slavery movements, the role of Malaysia as a hub of international higher education and the Fourth industrial revolution, and a cultural dissection of Korean ethnocentrism.​
